Tips to Personalize It!

Put your favorite picture on the Splash page

The “Splash” page is the first page you see when you open American Baby On-the-Go, where you see the four picture photo collage. It’s easy to put your own photo onto the Splash page. Just follow these steps:

  1. Take a picture using your handheld if you have a camera. If not, transfer a picture to your handheld using the Palm Desktop or an SD card (see “Transferring Pictures” below).
  2. Once you have a picture of you together on your handheld, open up the picture.
  3. Open the menu by clicking “Media” at the top, and select “Details”.
  4. In the “Name” field, erase the old name and enter the following text, exactly (without the quotation markes): “MySplash”
  5. Exit the American Baby software, and open it again. Now you’ll see your own photo each time you open American Baby On-the-Go!

Use Your Contacts!

Importing Contacts from your Palm Contact List

Follow these steps:

  1. Open Contacts & Schedule and select Contacts
  2. Select Import from the top right corner.
  3. You have a choice of either selecting one contact or all contacts.
  4. After you have selected your choice, you can choose the category that the contact(s) will fall under.
  5. After selecting contact information, click on OK and the program will import the desired contacts.
Add Notes to Contact

Follow these steps:

  1. Open Contacts & Schedule and select Contacts
  2. Select the Contact.
  3. Select Details.
  4. Select Notes
  5. Enter Notes and then select Done.
Recording questions for Doctors

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Contacts & Schedule.
  2. Select Contacts.
  3. Scroll until you find your desired Doctor and then select Edit.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Follow-Up Questions
  5. Select New.
  6. Enter your question and then select OK.
Tracking Your RSVP

Follow these steps:

  1. Go to Contacts & Schedule.
  2. Select Contacts.
  3. Scroll until you find your desired Guest and then select Edit.
  4. Make sure you have the guest placed in guest category (drop drown screen on far right).
  5. Check RSVP if the guest will be attending and then select OK.

Get Your Budget in Order!

Add new items to my Baby Budget

Follow these steps:

  1. Open Budget
  2. Click the New button.
  3. Enter a new item and amount and then select OK.
Add Notes to My Budget items

Follow these steps:

  1. Open My Budget
  2. Select the item.
  3. Select Details.
  4. Select Notes
  5. Enter Notes and then select Done.

Customize the Checklist!

Add Notes to Planning Checklist items

Follow these steps:

  1. Open Planning Checklist
  2. Select the item.
  3. Select Details.
  4. Select Notes
  5. Enter Notes and then select Done.
Personalizing your checklist

Follow these steps:

  1. Open Planning Checklist
  2. Click the New button.
  3. Enter a new item under ToDo.
  4. Select a due date and then select OK.

Have fun with your Scrapbook!

Follow these steps to add your own photos to the Scrapbook

Adding Photos to My Scrapbook when you take photos with your digital camera, receive digital photos from other people, or have photos stored on your computer, you can easily add them to the Palm Media application on your handheld or your desktop computer, edit them, and synchronize the photos to your handheld.

To add a photo using the Add Media icon

  1. Select a handheld album or an expansion card album.
  2. Click the Add Media icon on the toolbar.
  3. In the Add Media to Album dialog box, select the photos you want.
  4. Click OK.

To drag a photo from the Windows desktop or Explorer and add it to an album

Drag the photo file onto the album where you want the photo, or drag it onto a view in the palmOne Media window.

To drag a folder with photos from the Windows desktop or Explorer

Drag the folder onto the Albums bar. If you drag a folder, the album can have the same name as the folder or a different name.
